NetAlarm can connect and check your Oracle database periodically. In case of a problem,
it notifies you.
NetAlarm does not check only availability. It can also control the following values
in your oracle database.
- NetAlarm checks existance of invalid objects in your database.(Packages, stored
procedures, triggers etc..) You can be notified if an invalid object exist in your
database.
- NetAlarm checks the count of open cursors. If the value is greater than a predefined
threshold, NetAlarm can start an alarm and notifies you about the problem.
- If one of applications in your system does not close the database connections after
its job done, connections will accumulate. This situation can causes an oracle crash
or slow database responses.
NetAlarm can check the how many connections simultaneously exists to your database.
If the number of connections is greater than a predefined value, NetAlarm can notify
